there's some sweet and good riding starting to open up where i live. the weather is stabilizing and there's snow for sure but it's flurry type snow that blows hard and doesn't really stick. the rain's cold but that's what clothes are for - oh, and hot showers!!!   anyhow this is a sweet spot to visit if you need to know anything about bike repair at home . . . madegood is an amazing resource

summer dreaming

in a few months on this very spot, i will sit at a small black table in the morning sunshine,

 drinking an americano and eating a giant ginger cookie!

it's coming back . . . after a winter of cycling through blizzards, minus thirty celsius rides, and two weeks of riding through the flu, i am really really ready and happy to see the snow pulling back and the bike lanes reappearing !!!!
